The Ministry of Finance, with a decision signed by the Deputy Minister Mr. Apostolos Vesyropoulos, grants a new extension to the possibility of buying heating fuel with a reduced rate of Special Consumption Tax (EFK).
The pertinent term expired on May 15 and the ministerial decision extends until May 31.
The new extension was deemed necessary due to increased demand and to make it easier for consumers to purchase heating fuel at low cost.
At the same time, the move will boost the fuel market, which has been hit by restrictive measures to deal with the coroner’s pandemic.
