The internet is flooded with videos and photos revealing what happened on Tuesday afternoon (09.03) in Nea Smyrni between hooded men and police forces.
After the protest rally in the square, hooded men attacked the police near Nea Smyrni’s TA with rocks and Molotov cocktails, and the MAT men responded with the use of chemicals and flares.
Street fights followed, with protesters mercilessly beating a 24-year-old DELTA police officer, shouting “you will die.”
Police launched a manhunt to locate the rioters, and the videos and photos that emerged were shocking.
