AGIO had an old woman from Nafplio, who was found on the sidewalk of the balcony of his house!
The incident occurred this afternoon in the most central part of Nafplio in Synagma Square, behind the Archaeological Museum.
The woman was spreading clothes on the balcony, on the first floor of a traditional two-story house (she is a tenant), when The wood of the balcony floor fell off -for old- and the old woman was found in the void from a height of 8 to 10 meters and then on the sidewalk tiles.
Neighbors were disturbed by their voices, EKAB and the police were notified and in a relatively short time, Nafpliotissa was taken to the Argos hospital.
Fortunately, his fall caused some injuries, but not very serious.
Today’s incidents demonstrate the need for controls by the owners and their competent authorities dangers lurking in many traditional buildings in the city.
For economic reasons, many owners leave them at the mercy of God, while there are several public buildings that are traps for neighbors and passers-by.
