Mourning in Hollywood as Carol Sutton, star of the movie “Blooming Magnolias,” died of coronavirus at the age of 76.
The 76-year-old actress had been hospitalized for several weeks in critical condition at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, yet “left” after complications from the virus.
The sad news was announced by the mayor of the city, LaToy Cantrell: “Carol Sutton was the queen of the New Orleans theater, honoring our city for several decades. “We will remember her forever for her presence and the incredible characters she played,” the ad read.
In 2012 he was honored by New Orleans with the Lifetime Achievement Award, while having two children, Archie and Aunya.
