More than half of the cases in Attica: the number of 60 in the ICU is increasing

Attica is on red alert for another day, which has more than half of the cases announced today.

The fact that the most populated region of our country is constantly in the “eye of the cyclone” causes intense concern to scientists in our country.

It is recalled that 207 additional cases were reported today, of which 120 are in Attica. On the other hand, Thessaloniki, which had a consistently very high case rate, usually gives single digit case numbers.

The situation in Heraklion is worrying, in which emergency measures have been applied, where 13 cases are counted.

It is observed that of 2,074 cases, 29 were identified during the controls carried out at the country’s gateways, while another came voluntarily for inspection, uploading the final report.

Still, 23 are associated with known confluences.

The professor of Pathology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Patras Charalambos Gogos said that the admission of the 28-year-old to the ICU was a great surprise, since he did not suffer from any underlying disease. The young man is not intubated and the doctors express the hope that he will be successful.
