Thousands of retirees, as well as vulnerable groups of the population, will see their accounts increase: a payment barrier is looming
“In the works” are 9 payments, which concern retirees, but also vulnerable groups of the population, by the government. Payments will be completed in December, with the goal of increasing revenue during the critical Christmas season during the second wave of the pandemic.
Today, among other things, the December pension payment with Retroactive payment of temporary pensions. More specifically, the rest is expected to occur 11 months retroactive to 65,251 old retirees (they had retired before May 2016) who had received at the end of October a smaller amount of retroactivity to which they are entitled during the 11 months from June 2015 to May 2016.
Particularly, the payments scheduled until the end of the year are the following:
1. With the payment of pensions in January (end of December), the Ministry of Labor plans to pay 190,000 pensioners -who have more than 30 years of retirement- the increases in pensions along with retroactive, arising from the application of the Vroutsi law. Along with the increases, as declared by the Minister of Labor G. Vroutsis, there will be the payment of the 16 retroactive months (from 01/09/2019), amounting to 4,032 euros. The monthly increase ranges between 12 and 252 euros. The increase will be greater the higher the pensionable income, that is, the income on which the pensions are calculated. New retirees, that is, those who receive a pension with 30 years or more of insurance after May 13, 2016 (with the provisions of the Katrougalos law), will receive the total increase in their pocket.
2. It will be paid at the end of December. Retroactive heirs pensions. These are the heirs of retirees, who have retroactive rights during the 11 months from June 2015 to May 2016. The corresponding platform has been opened and the interested parties submit applications.
3. Η double payment of the amount of the Guaranteed Minimum Income It will be credited to the beneficiaries on December 30 and will be delivered only to the households that benefit from the Guaranteed Minimum Income. There are 256,562 families with a total of 482,335 members, who will be the beneficiaries. They will receive, in December, double the special allowance they receive. In terms of amounts, for example, a household with one person and no income will receive 400 euros instead of 200 euros. The allowance is reduced to 100 euros per month (so you will receive a total of 200 euros in December), if you have an income of 600 euros in the last six months. A couple without children or a single parent family with 1 child will receive up to 600 euros or 440 euros, if in the last six months they had other income of 600 euros. A couple with a minor child will receive up to 700 euros, while a couple with 2 minor children will receive up to 800 euros, or 486 euros if they had an income of at least 600 euros in the last six months.
4. It is expected to be paid in early December. the subsidy for the self-employed. A relevant provision provides one-time financial assistance for lawyers, engineers and economists affected by the effects of the pandemic financial crisis. The subsidy will be 400 euros.
5. Must be paid before December 21st. the christmas gift to the workers. All those who have worked for the same employer from May 1 to December 31 are entitled to it. Those who were hired after May 1 receive the gift proportionally, for the duration of their employment. The suspended employees, for the period of suspension they received 534 euros (or 800 euros per month from November), will receive the gift not on the basis of their nominal remuneration, but on the basis of the amount of the special compensation for the suspension of your employment contract. The proportion of the gift of the suspensions will be paid by the state to the employees’ accounts.
6. Subsidy 400 euros to the long-term unemployed. The payment of the assignment will begin in the last days of November or the beginning of December. Specifically, the one-time extraordinary subsidy of 400 euros will be paid to 130,000 long-term unemployed, who have exceeded 12 months of continuous unemployment. The beneficiaries are long-term unemployed, who do not receive the long-term unemployment benefit of 200 euros, are registered in the unemployment register of the OAED, have exceeded or exceeded 12 months of continuous registered unemployment in the OAED – since 1/3/2020 until November 20. This means that those who had already completed 12 months of continuous unemployment before March 1, 2020 are not entitled to the benefit, as the long-term unemployed during the period of the pandemic are supposed to receive help. Those who received last spring the corresponding one-time financial aid for the spring, which was also 400 euros, are also not eligible.
7. On December 11 they will be paid employees of the 800 euro special purpose severance of companies that are affected according to KAD in November. Applications are open and will be completed on December 7th. Likewise, on December 11, the special purpose compensation of 800 euros will be paid and the suspensions of the labor contracts of the employees due to Janos and the cases of suspensions of labor contracts of vulnerable groups of employees for the month of November. Applications will begin on December 1, at 6:00 p.m., until December 7.
8. On November 30 they will be paid the percentage of the salary of the COOPERATION mechanism to the employees of the second phase presentations that were completed on November 24 The amount of compensation for special purposes is 800 euros, which corresponds to 30 days. In the event that an employee has two employers, these are closed by a public authority and both have been suspended, he is paid with the closed ones. Attention, the days are not added but in case of overlap the day is calculated only once, that is, the working day in both is calculated only once.
9. Before any other year will take place the prepayment of bonuses and the payment of the Christmas gift of the year 2020 by OAED. Specifically, on Monday, December 7, 2020, the prepayment of the ordinary unemployment subsidy, the long-term unemployment subsidy and the self-employment unemployment benefit, as well as the payment of the Christmas gift to the subsidized unemployed and beneficiaries will begin. of the special maternity protection benefit.
