Machines are constantly intervening and so far keep the road open. Especially with regard to the ascent from Athens to Lamia, to the tolls of Thebes, the Traffic Police carry out checks on all cars and only allow those with chains to pass.

Similar problems are recorded in the central Evia area. Recently it took the intervention of the fire service to release an immobilized vehicle with passengers.

Power outages

The intense meteorological phenomena also affect the Yliki area with difficulties in vehicle traffic.

In the Lokrida area of ​​Fthiotida, there are power outages in many villages, including Martino, Larymna, Malesina and Tragana.

In several cases the faults were repaired, however the problems continue.
In Lamia, snowfall continues in the city and regionally. From 02.00 hours on Monday, snowfalls have been registered in the Domokos area.

Below zero

More than 30 snow machines are working on the Lamia – Domokou and Lamia – Amfissa road trying to keep it open.

In the towns of Ypati and in the west of Fthiotida the snowfall continues while the temperatures have dropped below zero and frosts are registered.
