Images that are shocking because of the arrests of people during the clashes that took place at the University between the MAT and members of the KKE, were recorded through the lens of La Selva.
In the images that follow, the police forces literally take a protester, a member of the KKE. After being handcuffed, they violently lift him off the ground, holding him by the arms and legs, literally in the air like a “sack” to take him to the police cage that is destined for Security.
At the same time, in the video other protesters can be heard shouting at the police: “What a shame. You are illegal … criminals, you will break his arms,” but without fear they make their way among the rest of their companions carrying the member of the KKE in his arms.
The incident took place around 2:00 p.m. on Panepistimiou Street, during the incidents that occurred when A group of people who wanted to march clashed with the police forces, who made limited use of chemicals to repel them.
