The alleged assailant is in critical condition – Heavy and his mother
A family tragedy occurred in the Mastabas – Atsaleni area of Heraklion, around 4pm on Monday, when a 42-year-old man stabbed his 90-year-old mother and twin sister.
According to the information, the man’s mother is in serious condition, as he received multiple knives all over his body.
However, he is also in critical condition, having received, for unknown reasons, a knife on his left side, under his chest.
His 42-year-old sister, who has stab wounds to her neck and upper limbs, was also taken to the hospital on duty.
EKAB ambulances rushed to the scene, as well as police forces, who are investigating the incident.
