A package of three economic measures announced the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during his emergency announcements, during which he announced his decision to impose a emergency shutdown.
According to the Prime Minister, the three Immediate measures are as follows:
- Measure 1: Employees who are suspended during the month of November will receive State aid of 800 EUR early december
- Measure 2: Are expanding after two months all unemployment benefits that expired in September and October
- Measure 3: One-time financial aid of 400 euros to the unsubsidized long-term unemployed (estimated at around 130,000).
As noted by the Prime Minister, the above measures, together with the detailed arrangements planned by the Ministry of Finance for the support of employees and companies, will be specified by the Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras, at 15:00, during a conference press.
