Emergency shutdown: The clarifications were issued by the General Secretariat of Civil Protection, which clarifies how the transition will be made to judicial authorities, lawyers and notaries.
A joint ministerial decision determined the operating conditions of the country’s courts and prosecutors for the period from 11/07/2020 to 11/30/2020
Detailed how you will transition
- Go to court as a witness, lawyer, defendant – Documents that prove it: The transfer is accredited by means of the summons or attestation of a corresponding lawyer.
- Going to a notary or court to obtain an affidavit is evidenced by a lawyer’s certificate or subpoena, if applicable.
- Any other transfer to a judicial authority or lawyer or notary is accredited by a call from the service or a certificate from a lawyer / notary attesting by sending a paper document or by email the summons / invitation of the witness or his client.
- The movements of lawyers, notaries and bailiffs are accompanied by the corresponding form that covers the movements of the self-employed, noting that for labor purposes these three categories, namely lawyers, notaries and bailiffs, can move outside their regional unit for work reasons. The same applies to witnesses if they have to testify outside the peripheral unit of their residence.
It is noted that in all the above cases, the transition must be preceded by sending an SMS to 13033 with Code 3.
