As of today, Friday, November 13, 2020 and for the entire duration of the blockade and the exceptional restrictive measures:
– Grocery stores (for example, supermarkets, minimarkets, bakeries, butchers, fishmongers), pharmacies and car repair shops will be open until 20:30.
– Especially for food supermarkets (supermarkets) and mini-markets it is clarified that they can provide delivery services after 8.30 pm and until 1 after midnight.
– The kiosks can be open 24 hours a day.
– It should be noted that on Sunday, November 15, 2020, the operation of any commercial store that operates in accordance with paragraph 2 of article 16 of Law 4177/2013 (A ‘173) is suspended.
This is stated in an announcement by the Ministry of Development and Investments on the occasion of today’s publication in the Official Gazette of the Joint Ministerial Decision with the new package of restrictive measures to address the spread of Covid-19 that will be in effect until November 30 .
The new package of measures against the spread of the coronavirus also provides for the activities of amateur driving schools, driving schools, professional driving schools (PEI, KETHEVO), vocational training schools (SEKAM) Vocational Training of Drivers of Dangerous Goods Transport Vehicles, the operation is suspended except for the training and examination needs (theoretical and practical) of the candidates for bus and truck drivers, including the exam for Certificates of Capacity up to 5 trainees and the theoretical and practical examinations of the candidate drivers.
Likewise, the operation of the road technical inspection services for road transport vehicles is suspended, with the exception of the Public and Private Vehicle Technical Inspection Centers (KTEO), which have an automatic technical inspection line for heavy vehicles approved and authorized for the technical inspection of trucks and buses.
From 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., movements of citizens are allowed to attend to their vital, personal or professional needs that cannot be met in any other way.
Citizens can travel from 21:00 to 5:00 for the following restrictive reasons: pharmacy, visit to the doctor or transfer to a hospital or health center, if recommended after the relevant communication), c) individual movement with pet.
