The clarifications on the measures that will come into effect in the country from Saturday, November 7 at 6 in the morning, in the context of the general closure that was announced, were given by Nikos Hardalias.
The Undersecretary of Civil Protection and Crisis Management addressed an appeal and a request to all “the movements must be reasonable and only those necessary, so that the measures are as effective as possible”, while adding that during the evening the controls will be intensive , as and the reasons that justify moving during these hours are limited to reasons of work, health, personal exercise or traveling with a pet in everyone’s area of residence.
Specifically, the movement between 21: 00-05: 00 will take place like the rest of the day, that is, with a message to 13033 and travel forms (for work, for health reasons, individual sports and to go out with the pet) for the duration of the lockdown and no universal traffic ban will apply.
Transfers are allowed only by sending an SMS to 13033 or by completing the exceptional transfer form available at forma.gov.gr or a handwritten certificate (depending on the model) only for the following reasons:
1. Traveling for health reasons (going to a pharmacy, visiting a doctor or going to a hospital or health center, if recommended after the corresponding communication). In this case, an SMS is sent with the code 1.
2. Go to an operational store for basic supplies, where it is not possible to ship them on time. In this case, code 2 is used in the SMS.
3. Go to a public service, if the electronic or telephone service is not possible only due to urgent needs, prior appointment to which the citizen is informed in writing or electronically and under the additional condition of presenting the above information, as well as to the bank, to the extent that electronic transaction is not possible. To go to a public service or bank, code 3 is used in the SMS.
4. Go to help people in need, as well as to transfer a spouse or first degree relative to and from their workplace, if necessary, or to accompany a student to school by a parent or guardian. In these cases (attendance, transfer of spouse or family member to work and accompaniment of student) an SMS is sent with the code 4.
5. Attend a funeral under the conditions provided by law or go to parents who are in a dimension that is necessary to ensure communication between parents and children, in accordance with current provisions. In these cases, code 5 is used in the SMS.
6. Physical exercise in the open air or movement with pets, individually or in pairs of two (2) people, provided that in the latter case the necessary distance of one and a half meters (1.5) is observed. As well as a transition for the feeding of stray animals, provided that the transition takes place within the municipality of residence of the citizen. In these cases, code 6 is used in the SMS.
