A 43-year-old man from Lamia was admitted to the Lamia Hospital’s Coronavirus Intensive Care Unit and was intubated in the Piedra Building after complications caused by the virus.
This is another young man who proves the tough face of covid-19 and who was admitted just two days earlier, on Thursday (12/17) in the Stone building with difficulty breathing.
According to lamiareport.gr, the coronavirus ICU of the Lamia General Hospital is once again full of 12 cases, half of them now from Fthiotida (5 men – 1 woman). The other six are four men from Karditsa and two from Larissa.
However, even at the Covid Clinic of the Stone building, things are going well for a long time … with 60 patients (58 at the moment). Despite the 2 + 3 downloads given in the last 24 hours, there have been similar imports, confirming that the virus is still present among us. And the worst thing is that almost half of the cases have severe symptoms that require hospitalization.
At the end of the day, four cases are still being cared for by the Nursing Home where all the inmates and a large part of its staff fell ill.
