The determination of the government and the competent ministry to stop the pandemic was expressed by the Minister of Civil Protection, Michalis Chrysochoidis, in his statements after a meeting held in Kozani, in the West Macedonia Region, to deal with the spread of the forensic.

“We are here today because we are very concerned,” he said, adding: “The phenomenon is becoming endemic, the city and the region have been suffering from the coronavirus for many months. “I want to say that we are determined to implement all those measures, to make all those decisions to stop the spread of the pandemic in the region. We will be close to the people of Kozani, the people of Kozani, the citizens of Kozani prefecture, ”the minister also stressed. He also stressed that “the vaccine is coming” and expressed optimism that “in about two months the pandemic will begin to gradually diminish and our normal life will gradually begin.” He urged everyone to be patient and assured that the government’s plan will be fully implemented to stop the coronavirus.

Mr. Chrysochoidis called the meeting constructive (which was also attended by the Secretary of Civil Protection, Vassilis Papageorgiou) and wished for patience, courage and optimism for the new year. “We believe that the new year will be a different, normal year, as the previous ones were without the coronavirus.
