The Health Safety and Protection Charter was renewed to limit the spread of coronavirus following the inclusion of the Kozani regional unit at alarm level 4.
It is recalled that Kozani is the only Regional Unit so far that is at the highest level of the Health Security Charter and measures are planned, among others, such as mandatory use of a mask in all indoor workplaces and in all outdoor areas, suspension of all meetings in public and private spaces, As much as no movement outside of the Kozani Regional Unit.
The Charter includes four levels of precautionary measures and rules for each Regional Unit of the country (Level 1 – Preparedness, Level 2 – Surveillance, Level 3 – Greater surveillance and Level 4 – Greater risk) and includes the 74 Regional Units of Greece in levels of health security and protection with the corresponding packages that apply to all.
Of the 74 regional units in the country, 27 belong to level 1 (standby), 25 to level 2 (under surveillance), 21 to level 3 (under enhanced surveillance) and one to level 4 (increased risk).
So far, based on the Health, Safety and Protection Charter, the Regional Units have been distributed as follows:
Level 1: Andros, Arcadia, Arta, Drama, Evros, Evritania, Ilia, Thassos, Thesprotia, Ithaca, Ikaria, Kavala, Kalymnos, Karpathos-Kasos, Kefallinia, Lassithi, Lefkada, Lemnos, Messinia, Milos, Rethymnon, Rethymnon, Rethymnon, Tinos , Fokida, Chania.
Level 2: Etoloakarnania, Argolida, Boeotia, Grevena, Evia, Imathia, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Kilkis, Corinth, Kos, Laconia, Larissa, Magnesia, Naxos, Xanthi, Paros, Pieria, Preveza, Chdak, Rodalli, Rodopi, Rodopi.
Level 3: Eastern Attica, Achaia, Northern Athens, Western Attica, Western Athens, Zakynthos, Heraklion, Thira, Ioannina, Karditsa, Kastoria, Kea-Kythnos, Central Athens, Lesbos, Mykonos, N Pella, Samos, Trikala .
Level 4: Kozani.
