The Ministry of Health, the City Council of Athens and the General Secretariat for Civil Protection are proceeding with a new package of actions for the center of Athens, against the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the joint plan for the treatment of the spread of the coronavirus:

– Eight Athens Friendship Clubs are formed and transformed into small diagnostic testing centers for COVID-19 disease. The tests will be conducted and in accordance with current protocols, with a view to protecting public health, “and in particular the vulnerable and vulnerable groups of the population.”

– There are faster tests available to increase the controls in the two structures of the municipality of Atenas (Multipurpose Center for the homeless and Hospitality Center for toxic addicts).

Rapid tests intensify with EODY in congested areas of Athens, where most cases of coronavirus are registered.

– The teams of the Athens City Council for the support and care of the homeless (streetwork), are framed and supported by nurses, to take more samples but also to provide more specialized health and welfare services to people who need it.

– Are crated two new temporary isolation structures, to welcome addicts to reduce their health risks due to a possible infection, as well as citizens who come from vulnerable and vulnerable groups and have tested positive for the virus, so they must implement social distancing measures to limit its possible spread of the virus . All health protection measures will be applied in these structures, under decent living conditions.

– The “Joint Center for Daily Management”, which operates in coordination with the Greek and Municipal Police, expands its activities in communication and joint planning of all agencies and services that have assumed responsibility for the prevention and protection of the health of the citizens. .
