Madrid residents are expected to be prohibited from leaving their city with the exception of necessary trips, based on the new restrictions against the new coronavirus, announced today by the Spanish government.
In addition, the city borders will be closed to visitors from other cities for any unnecessary visits, they predict new measures that will be imposed in large municipalities where high rates of Covid-19 infection are registered.
Another nine cities in the metropolitan area of the Spanish capital will also be affected by the measures.

The Community of Madrid registers more than 1/3 of the 133,604 cases diagnosed in Spain in the last 2 weeks.
