The new negative record for coronavirus cases in Greece causes further concern.
EODY announced 935 new coronavirus cases today, while data shows that Attica and Thessaloniki remain at the center of the epidemic.
In particular, 228 new cases were recorded in Attica, while the incidence of infection increased rapidly in Thessaloniki, as 217 were identified. At the same time, however, other areas of the country also employ specialists. One of them is Serres, where 54 cases were found, a fact that led the Governor of Central Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas and the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalia to call an extraordinary meeting for Sunday.
At the same time, 37 cases were identified in Larissa, of the 30 in Ioannina and Kozani, 27 in Kastoria. It is noted that the last two regional units are the only ones in the Safety and Health Protection Charter that are at the highest risk level 4, as a result of which they are placed in a mini-lockdown.
