Koronovirus: 15 cases of the Christmas service in a village of Argolida

Despite the strict recommendations, some remain unrepentant. In one of its towns Argolide 15 cases were identified coronavirus that are related to the Christmas service.

This is the town of Anifi, Argolida, where according to ANT1, 15 residents tested positive for the virus.

The 50-year-old priest from the local parish, who also has underlying illnesses, is being treated in the ICU at Kalamata hospital.

The priest’s elderly parents have also been rushed to the hospital, while four other members of his family have been diagnosed with coronavirus.

After a quick test in the village, eight other residents tested positive.

Follow-up showed that those who tested positive had attended the Christmas service at the village church.

Disinfections were carried out in the churches, public and public areas of the town, as well as in the home of the sick family.
