It is highlighted that yesterday 436 new cases of the new virus were announced in the country, of which 63 are associated with known outbreaks and 31 were identified after controls on the country’s portals. The total number of cases is 23,495, of which 55.5% are men.
3404 (14.5%) are considered to be related to trips from abroad and 9,525 (40.5%) are related to an already known case.
86 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 68 years. 22 (25.6%) are women and the rest are men. 93.0% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 245 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 7 more deaths registered and 469 deaths in total in the country. 179 (38.2%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.6% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
Macron: Night traffic ban in Paris – “You don’t lose control”
It is worth noting how the imposition of a night curfew in Paris and many other major French cities was announced tonight by President Emanuel Macron.
The ban will go into effect on Saturday and will initially last four weeks. “Anyone leaving during the curfew hours from 9 pm to 6 am” should have a good reason. “Those who violate the ban will be fined.
The French president added that the government would ask parliament to extend the ban for another two weeks, until December 1. “Six weeks is a long time,” he said in an interview with French television.
