Unfortunately, the number of tragic deaths from the coronavirus is growing, as it became known that six more people ended up in the Volos and Alexandroupolis General Hospitals on Saturday morning.
According to information from e-thessalia.gr, in the early hours of the morning, three people aged 70, 87 and 98 lost the battle against the coronavirus.
The Achillopouleio Hospital in Volos counts a total of 52 deaths from coronavirus in almost a month.
At the same time, according to ERT, three other patients lost the battle with the coronavirus, on Friday, at the Alexandroupolis hospital, while four new admissions were made and six were discharged.
This is a 58-year-old man from Drama who was admitted to the hospital on November 18 and ended up in the Intensive Care Unit, a 78-year-old man from Xanthi who was admitted on November 25 and ended up in the covid-19 clinic in addition of a 92-year-old Old Man from Alexandroupolis who was admitted on November 25 and ended up in the covid-19 clinic.
A total of 67 deaths have been recorded at Alexandroupolis Hospital since the start of the pandemic.
With these data, 92 patients are currently hospitalized, of which 69 are in the covid-19 clinics, 20 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 3 in the Special Infections Unit (MEL).
As for the number of new cases announced on Friday by EODY, it was 2,013. Of these, 175 were in East Macedonia – Thrace and specifically: 26 in Evros 40 in Drama 51 in Kavala 46 in Xanthi and 12 in Rhodopi.
