The time for decisions to open up retail is approaching. Although the government spokesman did not make any announcements today, given that epidemiological data is still insufficient, according to information from SKAI, the meetings that will take place in the middle of the week, Wednesday and Thursday, will be crucial.
This is because the government hopes to have a better epidemiological outlook to be able to discuss the stores that can reopen as of December 14.
In this context, there are two scenarios on the table. The first is to start the opening with the reopening of some small points, such as hairdressers, toy stores, florists, etc. and the second is to have a horizontal opening of retail. However, final decisions have not yet been made.
For the churches, a communication between Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Ieronymos, is expected before the Summit on December 10, because a golden section is sought so that they do not open a few days during the holidays. The government is concerned about the possibility of spreading the virus, but there is also pressure on the Holy Synod.
As for schools, in an interview with Alpha TV, the prime minister expressed optimism that they will be able to reopen after the Lights, because the epidemiological data is expected to be better.
