Koronovios: Meeting with Mitsotaki, Tsiodra, Kikilia, Hardalia for measurements in Attica

A meeting was held at the Maximos Palace, where the list of measures for Attica was closed.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias, infectious disease specialist Sotiris Tsiodras and Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias.

Decisions will be announced at 18:00 by Nikos Hardalia.

The panel of experts suggested a series of horizontal “blockade-type” measures, but it is not certain that all will be announced today.

According to the information, the measures include:

  • The extension of the opening hours of supermarkets and commercial premises.
  • The lowest occupancy in MMM, probably at 50%.
  • The suspension of closed cinemas.
  • Reducing guests to social events to 20-25.
  • The suspension of cultural events and concerts.
  • The reduction of producers in the popular markets, that is, it will be half a week a week, to avoid the synchronicity of consumers.
  • The mandatory use of a mask outdoors, where there is co-painting, but also the extension of the measure indoors, where it was not mandatory before.
  • Regarding the restoration, it is expected to announce the reduction of people per table to 4 people or 6 for the first degree of kinship.

As announced, most of the cases have occurred in the municipality of Athens and Piraeus.
