The map presented by the Vice Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Χαρδαλιάς and the Minister of Digital Government Kyriakos Pierrakakis It includes four levels of precautionary measures and standards for each regional unit of the country.
It includes the 74 regional units of Greece in levels of health, safety and protection with the corresponding packages of measures that apply to all. More specifically, they are included in the following levels:
Level 1 – Availability (green)
Level 2 – Surveillance (yellow)
Level 3 – Increased Vigilance (orange)
Level 4 – High risk (red)
Determining the level of risk in each area depends on the increasing or decreasing trend of epidemiological variables, such as the number of cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, the indicators of completeness of the health system (eg, used individual beds and beds of Units Intensive Care) and the quality of the epidemiological situation in each region, as captured by the tracking data but also by the correlation of the cases and their contacts. 17 criteria are analyzed and evaluated daily to determine the alarm level for each zone.
The implementation of the measures will be carried out at the regional unit level, unless exceptional circumstances arise that justify exceptions within the regional unit, that is, at the municipality level, according to the protocols of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection.

The map is available on the website https://covid19.gov.gr and information on preventive measures in each region of the country can be done in three ways:

The map will be updated every 14 days based on the recommendations of a special committee on infectious diseases of the Ministry of Health or more frequently, when required by health and epidemiological indicators.
In addition, the definition of measures and rules is subject to modifications based on the latest scientific and research data.
The rules and opening hours of the stores.
At the same time, Mr. Hardals presented some modifications that this map will include in the individual standards in force to this day.

How close to level 4 is Attica?
When asked how close Attica is to level 4, Hardalias said that based on current data we are far away since integration of Attica at level 4, and each applied measure remains to bring some results.
“For the time being curve in Attica remains flat. There is one Pressure to ICU, in intubated But these are issues that are 17 criteria that are taken into account by different organizations to reach our final decision about what is happening and what can be expected. “This whole approach is based on scientific data,” he said, adding that “things are completely simplified. Until now, the question was what measures would we take and if one measure is valid and if the other measure is valid, now the question is at what level each region will be classified. This decision is a decision that we discuss every Wednesday, every 14 days we update, by a special committee that is made up of 6 epidemiologists and people who deal with this part “.
What about the masks?
About use of mask And if something has changed in this regard, Mr. Hardalias stated that “it has not changed the least on the subject of the mask. The use of a colored mask indoors and outdoors is mandatory. From then on there was one powerful recommendation which remains a strong recommendation for general use of face masks in external places. This applies to both Level 1 and Level 2 and Level 3. At level 4, when we go to a higher risk, then it will be mandatory to wear a mask outdoors.
For the concentration in the Court of Appeals and the risk of spreading the virus in Athens
When asked to comment on the big meeting in the Court of Appeals on Wednesday in the context of the decision for the Golden Dawn trial, if he was concerned about this image and if there is a possibility of seeing an explosion in 2 weeks in Attica , Hardals said: image, I have positioned myself for such events, realizing the intention of all who were there. In any case, from what I share with epidemiologists, I feel this can create a small or large outbreak. Any synchronicity big or small carries risks. We say it from the first moment. “A case where 20,000 people gather in one area will almost certainly bring up specific cases, which we avoid but are here to treat.”
“Worse scenario than the confinement”
At the same time, the president of the Panhellenic Medical Association Athanasius Six fingers beaten “BellFor the faithful observance of the protection measures for the coronavirus as he characteristically said “we want society and the economy to open up.”
About More expensive Mr. Exadaktylos emphasized that their use is provided where there is overcrowding.
“I don’t see any reason for someone to wear a mask if they go out alone,” he told ANT1.
At the same time, the president of the Panhellenic Medical Association, stressed that the results of the meeting in front of the Court of Appeal of the Golden Dawn, will be seen in about ten days.
Regarding the measures taken by our country for the coronavirus, he stressed that “they have taken on time and if we had better compliance we could have a better result. “
Finally, on the possibility of a new emergency shutdown in Greece, Mr. Exadaktylos stated that it depends on how we behave.
“There is something worse than a confinement. The delayed blockade.” There is a double problem: both the problem of confinement and the problem of delay, which means a great health crisis, “he stressed.
However, according to the president of the Panhellenic Medical Association, the situation in our country is still reversible.
