There are 882 new cases of the disease confirmed by laboratory, of which 99 are associated with known outbreaks and 52 were identified after controls at the gates of the country.
The total number of cases is 28,216 (daily variation + 3.2%), of which 55.5% are men.
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 15, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 549 deaths have been registered.
The median age of the patients who died was 79 years. The number of patients treated by intubation is 90 (64.4% men). The daily distribution of confirmed cases is as follows (the line represents the total accumulated distribution of cases).
Of the total of 28,216 cases, 3,728 (13.2%) are considered related to travel from abroad, 11,032 (39.1%) are related to a known case and the rest are not related to travel or any other known case or they are still under investigation.
The average age of the cases is 39 years (range 0 to 102 years), while the average age of death is 79 years (range 25 to 102 years).
