EODY announced 841 new cases of coronavirus in the country, of which 76 are associated with known outbreaks and 43 were detected after checks at the country’s gates. The total number of cases is 29057, of which 55.5% are men.

3,777 (13.0%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 11,354 (39.1%) are related to an already known case.

89 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 66. 31 (34.8%) are women and the rest are men. 93.3% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 268 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 10 more registered deaths and 559 deaths in total in the country. 209 (37.4%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our dying fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.2% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.

The data presented refers to cases of the epidemiological surveillance of the disease by the new coronavirus (COVID19), based on the data reported to EODY and registered until October 23, 2020 (3:00 p.m.). The new cases confirmed by laboratory of the disease are 841, of which 76 are associated with known outbreaks and 43 were detected after controls at the gates of the country. Geographic dispersion
