- The operation of any type of retail sale of goods is suspended from 12:00 at night until 5:00 am. the next day, such as kiosks, mini markets (including those located inside service stations), warehouses, tobacconists, grocery stores, bakeries, confectioneries. However, pharmacies, gas stations and vending machines are excluded, except for the supply of alcoholic beverages. It is allowed to carry, drive and deliver to restaurants, with the exception of the sale of alcohol.
- The use of a mask is mandatory in all closed, public and private workplaces, as well as in all open meeting places, such as squares, bus stops, queues in shops, marches – demonstrations, political party events where You cannot observe the 1.5 meter distance rule.
- The operation of private companies has been temporarily suspended in relation to the following activities: 1) Bar services provided by a dance center 2) Services provided by a nightclub or disco. 3) Services provided by an entertainment center-cafeteria. 4) Services provided by a nightclub. 5) Services provided by nightclub-disco and concert hall.
- In public markets, sellers and consumers are obliged to wear a non-medical protective mask, while in each public market a 50% participation is allowed per category of seller (producers and professionals respectively). The minimum distance between the vendors’ benches is set at three meters, with the space between them free of objects.
Coronavirus: what applies to work and employees
For the spaces job and the employees it has generally been decided:
- Mandatory 40% teleworking for employees in the public and private sectors, who perform office tasks or can be done remotely.
- I travel to and from work in three waves for the State: at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
- Establish flexibility in the arrival and departure of private sector employees in 4 waves, within 2 hours from the start and end of the working day.
- Scanning and sanctions to employers and employees who do not comply with personal protection measures in the workplace, that is, mandatory use of a mask.
- Comprehensive controls: tests carried out by EODY teams at workplaces and meetings in congested areas of Attica and public and private sector services that are considered necessary, “for the proper functioning of the state and the economy”, such as schools, transportation public and mainly hospitals.
Coronavirus: recommendations to vulnerable groups
For the protection of citizens belonging to vulnerable groups and over 65s recommended:
- Limit your movements for the next 14 days to what is absolutely necessary, always taking the appropriate protective measures.
- Avoid contact with people who are not from the close family environment and avoid transportation by public transport.
In addition to Attica: It is decided to stay in quarantine hotels, asymptomatic positive cases belonging to vulnerable population groups, such as immigrants.
Measures for coronavirus in 12 areas
What applies to regional units Trikala, Pella, Pieria, Kilkis, Lesbos, Imathia, Chania, Heraklion, Halkidiki, Zakynthos and for the municipalities Mykonos, Kythnos:
- It is forbidden to operate all the health warehouses from 12 at night until 05:00 the next day.
- All kinds of events have been suspended, such as parties, fairs, processions.
- Any type of gathering of citizens over 9 people is prohibited for any reason, both in public and in private.
- In the dining areas a maximum number of people at each table is allowed up to 4 people, unless they are first degree relatives where up to 6 people are allowed.
- The use of a mask is mandatory both outdoors and indoors.
Measures for coronavirus in 13 areas
What applies to regional units Thessaloniki, Corfu, Larissa, Karditsa, Rethymnon and Lassithi, as well as for the municipalities Thira, Volos, Katerini, Rhodes, Kos, Paros and Antiparos:
- Mandatory use of mask indoors
- It is forbidden to operate the stores from 12 at night until 5 in the morning.
Coronavirus: recommendation for the use of masks throughout Greece
Finally, a strong recommendation is directed to citizens over 65 years of age, in Attica, but also throughout the country, for the general use of a mask, as well as to avoid public and private places of high meeting, public services, DEKO, banks, public transport.
