The images of mass graves in the United States are shocking as crown victims are increasing dramatically.
The aerial images, reminiscent of the war, were taken from Hart Island, New York, an island where people who do not have relatives or friends who search for them are usually buried. In pandemic conditions, about 25 people a day are transported there for burial, according to the Associated Press.
Due to the crown, burials are now performed by summary procedures. The time one now has to search for the person is limited to 14 days. After this time, the piles are transported for burial here.
Thursday was another sad day for the United States as 1,783 COVID-19 patients died and the total number of victims in the United States increased to 16,478.
In the United States, almost a quarter of the confirmed coronavirus cases in the world now represent more than 460,000.
New York State is by far the largest home in the pandemic: it mourns over 7,000 deaths. Records of a record increase in casualties in the past 24 hours (+799), however, Governor Andrew Cuomo said the number of hospital admissions has never been so low since the pandemic intensified.
