This is also the reason why the blockade extends both in Attica and in the other areas that are in the “deep red”, among them Thessaloniki and Achaia. At the same time, as announced, during the coronavirus briefing, more new areas will enter the highest alarm level, the “deep red”, starting tomorrow.

In areas located in the “deep red” tele-education for primary and secondary education is compulsory.

Religious services can be performed exclusively by religious ministers and necessary support personnel without the presence of other natural persons, with the exception of funerals, where the presence of up to nine persons is allowed.
At the same time, weddings are allowed in the presence of up to 9 people, including the religious or political official, as well as the necessary support staff.
Traffic is also prohibited from 7 in the afternoon to 5 in the morning. This excludes the Attica Region and Thessaloniki Regional Unit, where the weekday traffic ban (Monday to Friday) is from 9 pm to 5 am, due to the metropolitan nature of these areas, however on weekends the traffic ban starts at 7 pm
In those areas that belong to the highest risk level (red), the traffic ban is valid from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Sport
With regard to sports at the very high risk level (bright red), the following now apply:
Suspension of the operation and use of organized sports facilities.
Excludes the operation of sports facilities for training sessions and games without the presence of spectators: a) of the teams participating in the national male A ‘and B’ category soccer championships (Superliga I and Superliga II), in the A championships category ‘men’s basketball (basketball league) and category A’ men’s volleyball (men’s volleyball league) and only in European competitions, in accordance with the special protocols of the relevant international federations.
All other tournaments are suspended for the next few days.
In any case, the application of the above exceptions is only possible if a health protocol is followed that includes a mandatory weekly and before each race, the screening of athletes for COVID-19 with antigen testing by accredited laboratories.
