An alarm has sounded at a private clinic in Kozani where 12 cases of coronavirus have been found.
It all started last week when a patient tested positive for the virus, and the hospital administration tested both staff and patients.
According to ERT, ten out of 200 patients treated at the clinic and two out of 130 employees were diagnosed with covid-19. Five have been admitted to the Mamatsio and Bodosakeio hospitals, another five remain asymptomatic in the hospital and the two employees are under house arrest.
The follow-up of the contacts continues, in the last 48 hours more than 200 molecular tests have been carried out, while tomorrow, Tuesday, December 8, 2020, an EODY mobile unit will come to the clinic to perform new tests on employees and patients.
In the clinic, from the first moment of the pandemic, according to the hospital’s management, all EODY instructions and protocols are applied, while the measures of last February are strictly observed.
