Koronaios: Byron’s hospitality structure and Moschato nursing home are under quarantine

The General Secretariat of Civil Protection quarantines the reception structure for minor refugees, after the alarm it gave due to the detection of 30 cases of coronavirus.

Due to a high confirmed epidemiological burden (28 confirmed cases) in an accommodation structure for unaccompanied minors in Vyronas, Attica, following EODY inspections, by order of the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardagias, this structure of Hospitality is subject to restrictive measures for urgent reasons of serious risk to public health and in particular to limit the spread and effects of the COVID-19 disease.

Specifically:

  • The possibility of entering and leaving the aforementioned accommodation structure is suspended, except for the unit staff, which can be changed every 48 hours.
  • The supply and supply of essential items (food, medicine, etc.), in the aforementioned hospitality structure, will be carried out by the suppliers, without the possibility of entering it, observing all the necessary hygiene measures.

The above restrictive measures are valid from 08-31-2020 at 9:00 p.m. and for 14 days, until 09-14-2020 at 9:00 p.m.

Restrictive measures in the Moschato elderly unit

In addition, due to a confirmed case in a nursing home located in Moschato, Attica, today August 31, 2020, a relevant inspection was carried out by EODY staff and it was decided, in accordance with the above, that this unit will also be subject to restrictive measures.

Particularly:

  • The possibility of entering and leaving the aforementioned nursing home is suspended, with the exception of the unit staff.
  • The supply and supply of basic necessities (food, medicine, etc.) will be done by the suppliers, without the possibility of entering it, observing all the necessary hygiene measures.

The above restrictive measures are valid from 08/31/2020 at 6:00 p.m. and until the publication of the results of the laboratory tests carried out on the guests and the unit staff.

The Hellenic Police is responsible for supervising and taking any action necessary to ensure the implementation of these measures.
