New measures re-enter the lives of all Greeks as of Monday, but without significantly affecting our daily lives.
In essence, the presentation of the epidemiological safety and protection map that was made yesterday clarifies:
a) how dangerous each area is in relation to the spread of Covid-19 and b) what measures are applied depending on the level it is at.
In particular, the map presented by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias and the Minister of Digital Government Kyriakos Pierrakakis includes four levels of preventive and regulatory measures for each regional unit of the country.
The map includes the 74 regional units of Greece in levels of health, safety and security with the corresponding packages that apply to all. More specifically, they are included in the following levels:
LEVELS
- Level 1: readiness (green) Level 2: vigilance (yellow)
- Level 3: increased vigilance (orange)
- Level 4 – Higher Risk (Red)
What does the level of risk depend on in each area
According to Civil Protection, the determination of the level of risk in each area depends on the increasing or decreasing trend of the epidemiological variables, such as the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the indicators of completeness of the health system (eg. and Unicard beds)) and the qualitative characteristics of the epidemiological situation, of each region, as reflected in the trace data but also in the correlation of the cases and their contacts. 17 criteria are analyzed and evaluated daily to determine the alarm level for each zone.
Implementation of measures by region – Exceptions
The implementation of the measures will be carried out at the regional unit level, unless exceptional circumstances arise that justify exceptions within the regional unit, that is, at the municipality level, according to the protocols of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection.
The rules that come into our lives from Monday
Mr. Hardals also presented some amendments that will be included in this map in the individual rules that were in effect until today.
The most important changes are as follows:
one) Use of mask It is mandatory indoors and outdoors with synchronization at all alarm levels for the entire country. In short, in all corners of Greece, citizens must also wear a mask outside, but where there is overcrowding.
2) The catering schedule and entertainment centers at all alarm levels, that is, throughout the country throughout the territory.
More specifically: Businesses in areas located on level 1 will not operate from 1 to 5 in the morning. Level 2 from 00:30 pm to 5 am and level 3 from 12 midnight to 5 am.
3) Power on meetings indoors and outdoors a ceiling is fixed without exceptions:
At level 1. The 100 people,
At level 2. the 50 people
On level 3 the 9 people
4) They get proportional rules of squares and plenitude in conferences, places of worship and museums.
5) Strict limits of occupation in theater, cinema and concerts are established, which are the following:
Level 1 to… 65%
Level 2 in… 1, 50%
Level 3 at… 30%
6) The limits of fullness in focus defined in:
Level 1…. 80%
Level 2… .65%
Level 3… .50%
Where to find the map
The map is available on the website https://covid19.gov.gr and the information on preventive measures in each region of the country can be done in three ways:
a) entering a postal code in the corresponding field
(b) select the peripheral from the corresponding menu; or
c) clicking on the area of interest on the map.
The map will be updated every 14 days based on the recommendations of a special committee on infectious diseases of the Ministry of Health or more frequently, when required by health and epidemiological indicators.
In addition, the definition of measures and rules is subject to modifications based on the latest scientific and research data.
Attica: How far is it from “red alarm” – Record number of intubated
As for Attica, despite the explosion of the intubated, which is a respite before 100, that is 98, which means that the health system is still under significant pressure, the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias, said yesterday that Attica is far from red alarm level.
Furthermore, the fact that Attica is far from the red level is also demonstrated by the revelations of government spokesman Stelios Petsas, who claimed that there are thoughts that restaurants in Attica will close at 1:00 am. And not midnight like now
In any case, however, the number of intubated workers has been drawing the attention of infectious disease specialists, as it is the highest since the outbreak of the pandemic, as admitted by Professor Gikas Majorkinis during the regular briefing.
In addition, as the Deputy Minister of Health, Vassilis Kontozomanis, has said, emergencies and emergencies will not stop surgeries, as happened in the first wave of the pandemic. “There is not a rapid increase, but an increase,” Kontozomanis said, noting that at the moment, of the 122 beds available, 94 are occupied. “Depending on development, we will redistribute our forces,” he said.
What will happen if Attica reaches the “highest risk” level?
The closure of April, which no one wants to live again, recalls the level 4 measures of the health insurance map, presented today by the Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias, in an effort by our country to prevent the course of the deadly virus .
The precautionary and regulatory measures that will enter into force in one or more of the 74 regions of the country based on the inaccessible scenario –although remote with epidemiological data– provide, among other things, the suspension of entertainment centers, museums, penal centers. and civil courts, trade shows, etc.
It is observed that now at all levels without exception the use of a mask is mandatory where it has synchronicity – previously there was only a strong recommendation – while in the areas located in the “red” the use of a mask is mandatory everywhere.
