Mourning in Kastoria after the death of a 32-year-old man, who was recently quarantined, while working at the Pella factory, which was closed due to coronavirus cases.

According to information from local media, the 32-year-old had taken a coronavirus test and it came back negative. The exact cause of his death has yet to be determined.

Information from the Ministry of Health indicates that the 32-year-old who was found dead at home had a negative coronavirus test and, according to protocol, a sample was taken for re-analysis, while the necropsy is also awaited.

The factory with dozens of boxes

In the middle of last week an alarm sounded in Giannitsa and neighboring prefectures, as many cases of coronavirus were detected in a cannery.

In this factory, which employs 680 people, after the first cases found and the tests carried out on the workers, 191 cases of coronavirus were reported.

Subsequently, restrictive measures of the Poros type were taken in Pella, Imathia and Kilkis, since many cases of the confluence of the cannery were identified.
