Investigations are ongoing into the death of a man in Kantza during Easter.
The 45-year-old man had injuries to the upper and lower extremities and the head, and his body was found last night at his home on Ious Street in Kantza. According to the Proto Thema newspaper report, handwritten notes with incomprehensible religious content were found next to the body.
The authorities rule out the possibility of a robbery since there are no signs of rape in the house where he lived alone. Police are waiting for the completion of the forensic examination by Ms. Spiliopoulou to get an idea of whether it is a crime or suicide, as the first evidence shows that the 45-year-old man was facing psychological problems.
And while the medical examiner will decide if it is a criminal act, the Homicide officers who are investigating the case receive deposits from the relatives of the 45-year-old.
