Passed away on sunday journalist Christos Charalambopoulos after a brave battle he fought for years with serious health problems. The burden is particularly heavy on the SPOR FM 94.6 family, as the deceased has been a key player since the station was founded in 1996 until recently.

HE Christos Charalambopoulos Born in Piraeus, he studied Theology and Journalism, while pursuing an enviable and multifaceted career in the Media. He has worked for various magazines and newspapers, the Athens News Agency and state television, as a correspondent in Strasbourg and Brussels, and has been an external contributor to the European Parliament in Athens.

At the same time, of his brilliant career in journalism, he had presented a rich literary work, both with translations and with his own short story collections.

But apart from all of the above, for those who had the pleasure of meeting him, he was an exceptional person, educated and trained, kind, with infinite humor, an excellent colleague and friend. Rest in peace. We will never forget him…
