An 85-year-old woman living in the Zosimades nursing home in the Holy Metropolis of Ioannina was diagnosed positive for the coronavirus.
The old woman have mild symptoms and was transferred from the nursing home to the Infectious Diseases Unit of the University Hospital of Ioannina.
It is recalled that 50 samples analyzed for Covid-19 from the two nursing homes in the city, Zografio and Zosimadon, were negative..
Among them was the sample taken of an 85-year-old woman suspected of being positive for the new virus and the second test confirmed the initial suspicion.
ExpectedThe results of 200 samples taken from both nursing homes in the city, which were sent to Athens at the Pasteur Institute.
