Ominous predictions

The World Bank report’s predictions are a nightmare, where it is estimated that: the coronavirus pandemic can lead to extreme poverty, that is, living on less than $ 1.90 a day, up to 150 million people by the end of 2021 , eliminating three years of progress in efforts to reduce world poverty.

According to the organization, 9.1% -9.4% of the world’s population could be living in extreme poverty this year, marking the first increase in the extreme poverty rate in about 20 years.
