An arson attack on a pickup truck occurred in the early hours of Toumba Thessaloniki.
According to information from thestival, shortly after 2 pm A fire broke out in a white commercial van, which was parked in front of the premises of a well-known coffee trading company, in Amoliani street.
Within minutes, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. The explosion of the tires caused riots in the neighborhood. Two fire trucks with five firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.
As it turned out, the vehicle, which was completely destroyed, was owned by the coffee company.
Strong police forces were found at the scene, but the perpetrator or perpetrators of the fire had managed to escape.
The security police who initiated an investigation prior to the incident will have at their disposal the video of the security camera of the company’s facilities.

The previous arson attack on a vehicle in Thessaloniki took place six days ago near Kassandrou street. The next day, the anti-authoritarians claimed responsibility for the attack.
