A 24-year-old woman organized an illegal party in the middle of a lockdown at a hotel on Syggrou Avenue on Sunday night.

As confirmed in the morning by the Minister of Development, Adonis Georgiadis, the party was organized in a small hotel on the busy avenue, while, according to the report, 30 guests responded to the invitation of the young woman.

At around 2:30 pm, someone called Acción Immediata and denounced the party, adding that he was informed through social media about the illegal gathering, at the height of the New World.

According to information, the police forces immediately went to the hotel and located the participants on the eighth floor of the hotel.

A total of 30 fines of 300 euros were imposed for not using a mask While the 24-year-old native was arrested as an organizer of the party for violating article 285 of the Penal Code, the provisions on the spread of the coronavirus and for disturbing public order.

The 24-year-old was fined 3,000 euros.
