The horrible crime against an old man was investigated at his home in Perama, where he lived alone for the last 5 years after losing his wife.
The perpetrator turned out to be his 35-year-old Baptist. More specifically, the author was baptized by the deceased wife of the victim and was marked for robbery, drugs and violations of the gun law.
The unscrupulous offender, who was also a neighbor of the victim and frequently asked for financial help, took advantage of the 81-year-old man’s temporary absence, entered his house, broke the window and began looking for anything of value.
At that point, the victim returned home, pounced on him, immobilized him, and managed to stab him with a kitchen knife so deep from the end of his neck that it nearly beheaded him, while the victim also sustained a similar wound. in the chest in his attempt he seems to resist, before receiving the fatal blow.
Shortly after, the attacker took out the bank card of his unfortunate 81-year-old godfather, set two layers of the house on fire to remove his traces and escaped in the victim’s car, which also caught fire after two days in Esquistos.

“The Department of Crimes against Life and Personal Liberty of the Attica Security Directorate has investigated the case of the murder of an 81-year-old citizen, which was committed on 8/24/2020 in Perama, Attica.
The victim was found unconscious, at noon on 08-24-2020, during the extinction of a fire that had broken out in the house where he lived alone.
According to the forensic examination, the victim suffered injuries in several places by cutting and stabbing an organ.
From a thorough investigation by the Department of Crimes against Life and Personal Liberty, it was found that the perpetrator is a 35-year-old native, known to the victim.
It was established that the assailant had entered the home of the 81-year-old man with the intention of robbing. While searching the house, the victim returned and the perpetrator stabbed him.
Then, after removing the bank card and keys from the victim’s car, he set fire to the house in order to disappear his traces and escaped by removing the aforementioned vehicle.
A file was formed for the case, which was presented to the Public Ministry of Piraeus and an arrest warrant was issued under which the 35-year-old was arrested. “
