The son of the President of SYRIZA, Orpheus, is positive for the coronavirus as announced by Alexis Tsipras.
Tsipras announced the development by posting it on his personal Facebook account, in which he reported that he will be quarantined at home, although both he and Betty’s partner and their other son Phoebus tested negative.

“The coronavirus also visited our home today. Last night our Orpheus showed slight symptoms. We did the test in the morning and we learned the results a while ago. Betty, Phoebus, and I all tested negative, but Orpheus tested positive. They are doing well and, like most children, are expected to get over it easily.
According to the doctors, although I have applied both doses of the vaccine, it has not been enough time to have full immunity and in any case I must be proactive for a celebrity at home, to exclude any possibility of further transmission. I’m sure everything will work out. “
