The resignation letter has been prepared by the Secretary of Defense of the United States before the winner of the American elections.
According to the American network NBC, The Mark Esper he is preparing to resign from his post as head of the Pentagon, regardless of who prevails in the US presidency.
While it is common for U.S. government ministers and their associates to step down from their portfolios with the administration that appointed them, Esper is almost certain that will leave the government even if Trump wins the election.
