Nikos Hardalias announced the extension of the strict closure in the Municipalities of Aspropyrgos and Elefsina, and in some Municipalities of the Kozani regional unit.
He also announced the lifting of measures in Mandra, since, as the undersecretary said, the epidemiological panorama is better.
Specifically, the restrictive measures are extended in Kozani, Eordea and the municipality of Voia. It was also decided to lift the measures for the municipalities of Serbia and Velvento.
In the measures that are extended there is also the prohibition of traffic from 18:00 to 05:00 in the morning.
Strict Thespian-type measures are also imposed on Florina’s Defense Cell for 10 days.
Let’s focus on Kozani, West Attica and Thespies. The image of these areas was evaluated in a meeting of specialists in infectious diseases, where it was decided to extend the additional measures in the municipalities of Elefsina and Aspropyrgos until January 6 ”, said Mr. Hardalias.
At the same time, Hardalias said that authorities are concerned about the rise in viral load in many areas of the country, such as Florina, but also in areas of the Attica Basin, such as Keratsini and Ilion, urging residents to comply with the measurements.
Finally, he appealed to the inhabitants of the Florina regional unit, in the municipalities of Keratsini-Drapetsona, Peristeri, Ilios and Acharnes, in the Zefyrio area of the municipality of Fili, as well as on the island of Kalymnos, to be extremely careful and remain meters.
He recalled that the measures that were in force at Christmas are also valid on New Year’s Eve.
We remind you that the National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced on Tuesday afternoon (12/29) that the new laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases are 1047, of which 16 were located after controls at the gates of the country.
The total number of cases is 136976 (daily variation + 0.8%), of which 52.3% men.
5,380 (3.9%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 40,566 (29.6%) are related to an already known case.
