Guide to “Savings – Self-employed”: The 10 home improvements that are subsidized up to 85% – What properties do you refer to? [βίντεο] | HELLAS

Citizens are already showing great interest in the subsidy program for the energy improvement of homes “I save – I autonomy”.

The “Savings – Autonomous” guide published by iefimerida.gr lists all the categories of subsidies, with all the amounts. It is recalled that the “Savings – Self-employed” subsidy can reach 85% of the total cost of the work and cover up to 50,000 euros.

The Minister of Environment and Energy, Kostis Hatzidakis, had argued that with the “Savings – Autonomous” – which will “open” in November – a “wave of renewals” will begin, with RIS ensuring that although the interest of citizens is Se he will be very careful so that no one is left out and benefits from the next phase of “Savings – Autonomous”.

What properties can be included in “Savings: autonomous”

According to the RIS instructions, a home, to be considered eligible for “Savings – Autonomous”, must:

  • Used as main residence, as shown in E1.
  • Exists legally.
  • It is classified based on that Energy efficiency certificate (PEA), which was issued after 11/26/2017 in the category less than or equal to C (instead of D in the above program).
  • Has not been tried demolvable.
  • Interventions in accordance with the PDRs to be issued before and after their implementation should lead to improving the ranking for at least 3 steps.

Two categories for apartment buildings

There are two cases for apartment buildings, for interventions in apartments or only in common areas:

Type A application:

  • It is submitted by the apartment building representative and is linked to individual requests for individual apartments that include non-community energy interventions to improve them.
  • The apartment building must have issued a tax registration number (TIN) and have a bank account number.
  • Decision of the General Assembly, submission of a request by a representative, as well as individual requests by the owners of the apartments.
  • Energy efficiency certificate that relates to the part of the building that is used as a residence.

Type B application:

  • It is presented by the representative and includes only independent interventions for the improvement of the common areas of an apartment building, that is, without including interventions in the apartments.
  • The apartment building must have issued a tax registration number (TIN) and have a bank account number. A decision of the General Assembly and the submission of an application by a representative is also required, as well as an Energy Performance Certificate that refers to the entire part of the building that is used as a residence.
  • For interventions in public areas and elevators, a one-time assistance rate of 60% will be provided regardless of income (plus 10% as “coronavirus clause” and 10% for brown coal areas) in order to facilitate the submission of applications.
  • The maximum eligible budget for all interventions (energy saving, smart systems and energy autonomy) is 50,000 euros per eligible home or 100,000 euros per beneficiary tax number (for more homes) and 80,000 euros for interventions in common areas. Only for energy saving interventions, the budget limit is 1.2 euros per kilowatt hour saved.

“Savings – Autonomous”: What interventions does it cover?

In detail, the interventions covered by “Save-Autonomy”:

1. Replacement frames with compulsory recycling of old and the possibility of replacement of glass in buildings of historical or protected value or special architecture.
2. Installation / replacement thermal coverage shell: Eligible interventions are also considered small-scale works to support thermal insulation (cracks, waterproofing).
3. Update heating-cooling system:
Dismantling of oil burners and related tanks is also considered an eligible intervention.
The possibility of using oil burners is eliminated.
Eligibility for energy smokestacks in Athens and Thessaloniki is removed.
4. System Hot water with RES: Mandatory installation in cases where it does not exist.

For energy autonomy, subsidized interventions include:

one.RES power generation systems: They are only eligible if the house is upgraded, with the main energy saving interventions, to an energy category of at least B +.
The eligible intervention is the installation of photovoltaic energy only to satisfy the demand (net metering).
two. Storage systems: Eligible only as an additional intervention in the installation of a new photovoltaic station.

3. Electric vehicle charging infrastructure: Only devices that are suitable, according to ELOT standards, and intended for charging electric vehicles in a domestic environment are eligible.

4. Eligible smart system interventions (Smart home) is:
Digital systems and technologies that contribute to energy saving.
a) Smart lighting (eg smart plugs, energy efficient LED lighting).
b) Smart management of the heating / cooling system (eg smart thermostats).
c) Remote control (eg smart leak, moisture sensors, etc.).
Only interventions that adjust and maintain energy consumption (electrical appliances, lighting, heating, hot water, etc.) are eligible at levels chosen by users in order to save energy and / or record and process energy consumption data and / or adjust. and maintain shade levels.

Other eligible community interventions for apartment buildings include:
1. Elevator upgrade
Only the interventions necessary for the certification of lifts and the mandatory installation of inverters in lifts are eligible to achieve a reduction in their energy footprint without affecting their safety and functionality.
2. Updating the lighting system:
-Replacement of low consumption lamps (eg LED)
-Replacement of the timing system with an intelligent management system, depending on the time (day / night), brightness, entry / exit point, etc.
-Replacing the activation circuit by automation with motion sensors.

It is recalled that the requests for “Savings – Autonomous” by Region will be submitted with the following planning:
