At a time when Turkey continues to pull the strings of provocation, unleashing threats against Greece and France, the latter is taking action.
The aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, the flagship of the French navy, accompanied by “invisible” ships and submarines, sails towards the Eastern Mediterranean. According to the French press, the aircraft carrier left Toulon. The carrier’s mission has yet to be determined, while the number of ships accompanying it has not been released.
According to French media, Charles de Gaulle will be on standby, with equipment including fighter jets, flying radar and maximum-range strategic weapons and anti-submarine arsenal.
France’s move confirms Macron, who recently declared that “Turkey understands with deeds, not words,” putting into practice his earlier proclamation to reinforce French forces in the Mediterranean.
