Facing a macabre spectacle were the police from the Gravia Police Station, at noon on Friday (11/20) in a house in Kastellia, Fokida.
They found the owner of the house dead, who had been missing for days, but this was not strange for him since he did not have much to give to the neighbors. The latter were the ones who alerted the police, also looking at what the old 63-year-old mother was doing who was ill and they also had days to see her.
In the presence of the Court of First Instance, the police broke down the door and found the 63-year-old dead man behind the door, with the house in disarray and many things broken.
There was a mystery about where his 93-year-old mother was. A receipt found inside showed that the old woman had passed away earlier this month and was buried in the Xiriotissa cemetery where she had a private grave. Of course, it gives the impression that no one found out about the 93-year-old woman’s death with her funeral in a church in Lamia and then her burial in the cemetery in the presence of only the 63-year-old!
According to information on lamiareport.gr, he was very close to her and her death may have played a role in her own ending. The investigation, however, continues, while an autopsy was ordered, an autopsy to determine the causes that abruptly cut the thread of his life.
