On the last Monday in September, the 28th of this month, the country’s doctors will begin to prescribe the influenza vaccine electronically.
The flu shot especially for vulnerable groups is gaining more importance this year due to the pandemic COVID-19.
As announced today by the Ministry of Health, The flu vaccination period begins in the middle of next month – as is done every year – upon official recommendation of the National Vaccination Committee.
In its announcement, the Ministry of Health states:
“Following a recommendation from the National Vaccination Committee, the influenza vaccination period begins in mid-October, like every year. The electronic prescription of the influenza vaccine will begin on Monday, September 28”.
