Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday a fire broke out in an area outside the Reception and Identification Center in Samos.
Shortly before midnight the fire was in remission and there was no active front, leaving the fire department in place and working.
According to local media, part of the forest area was set on fire.
Annoying after three cases
In the KYT of Samos, however, there has been a disturbance since the afternoon after the detection of three cases of coronavirus.
These are two refugees who had come on Saturday with suspicious symptoms. Both were subjected to tests that today were positive.
It is noted that none of them were detained in the hospital as a precaution.
With the announcement of the case, the tracking procedures began, which led to the identification of another positive refugee for the coronavirus, while the subsequent controls have caused a disturbance in the KYT, where more than 4,600 people live with a nominal capacity of only 648.
A small “uprising” is also taking place in KYT Λέρου, an incident that, however, until now has not been described as worrying.
