The situation in the fire that burns at noon on Thursday (09/10) in Rafina is difficult.
At this time there is information that the settlements are being evacuated while the fire, according to ERT, is heading towards Loutsa.
According to the local website irafina.gr, after a suggestion by the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Rafina Pikermi, and a decision by the Mayor of Rafina, residents of the “Drosia” settlement are advised to take precautions in the area towards Rafina.
The recommendation is made to fully facilitate the operational action of the Fire Department.

The fire started from low vegetation in Outdoor area on Agiou Georgiou and Arionos street.
There are already strong firefighters on the scene – 65 firefighters with 15 vehicles, 5 groups of pedestrians, METPE, volunteers and water carriers – trying to put out the fire.
3 helicopters are involved in fire fighting.
